In my post Bubble Tea In Chinatown, I forgot to mention that I had gotten ripped off. The store that had the asian photobooth also sold items. I bought two packs of paper star strips for $6. After buying the paper, my friend told me she bought the same paper for $1.00 each. I went home, called my friend Minju in Korea and told her what happend. I guess she remembered and sent me the paper :)
- Uniform Flyers
She also sent me highschool uniform flyers that have korean celebritys modeling them. I read an article not too long ago that the Korean government wants to stop these celebritys from modeling high school uniforms because it doesn't send out a good message to students.
I wish they'd have uniforms like this at my school T_T. My favorite one is the pink uniform.
- Hello Kitty Supplies
Notepad, Pens, Pencils. Aren't these cute?! ^^
We've decided to call ourselves AMACA which is each the first letter of our names.
I ordered Mango bubble tea -> changed it to Kiwi -> then Mango -> and finally stuck with Kiwi which I totally regret doing. Kiwi wasn't that bad but I found it tasted too powdery. My friend Alice chose Passion Fruit and Chantale chose chocolate, I should try that next time (though I find it odd that there's a chocolate flavored bubble tea). I also ordered this salad/rice/goody chicken.
After eating we went into a mini mall if you call it. I wanted to take photos in the traditional photobooth but Alice said that the one in Chinatown is much better and cheaper too. I think we spent four hours in it. I just had to do one pose that reminded me of the Wondergirls.
I was talking to a Korean friend while watching Windstruck. He said it was very funny but sad. I couldn't understand how a comedy could turn out to be a sad movie until I saw the ending. The ending didn't make sense either. I'm don't know who the man standing next to the main character was. I'm hoping to buy this movie when I go to Korea next summer since I can't find any Korean films in Montreal.

Because I didn't read the novel, I began critiquing the movie as it went along. I whispered certain things that bothered and liked about the movie to my sister, but she'd just scold me saying " You don't understand because you didn't read the book!". Robert and Kristin's acting skills were alright. I was a bit bothered in the beginning when the actors were suppose to be shy/uncomfortable with each other. Whatever that was. But the parts that really got to me were when Edward & Bella would share a kiss. Chemistry right there.
I'll probably watch it another time. Hopefully the movie will be out on DVD by Christmas.
I wrote a poem about you
I thought you should know
It wasn’t short and sweet
But rather long and sour
